Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using OurCast's AI-powered video service. Our goal is to ensure that our technology is used responsibly, ethically, and in ways that respect the rights and dignity of all individuals.

2. Consent Requirements

You must have explicit consent from any individual whose face appears in photos you upload to our service. This means:

• The person knows you intend to use their photo for AI face replacement
• The person has agreed to this use verbally or in writing
• If the person is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent
• You maintain records of consent and can provide proof if requested

Using photos of public figures (celebrities, politicians, etc.) is also prohibited unless you have their explicit permission or are authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not use OurCast to create, distribute, or facilitate content that:

• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or depicts nudity
• Depicts violence, gore, or harm to individuals
• Promotes hate, discrimination, or harassment based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic
• Impersonates or misrepresents someone's identity
• Is defamatory, libelous, or damaging to someone's reputation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Could be used for fraud, scams, or deceptive practices

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our service to:

• Create deepfakes intended to deceive, manipulate, or spread misinformation
• Harass, bully, stalk, or threaten any individual
• Damage someone's professional or personal reputation
• Create non-consensual intimate imagery
• Interfere with elections or democratic processes
• Commit or facilitate identity theft or fraud
• Violate any person's privacy or publicity rights
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with our security features
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models or algorithms
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

5. Commercial Use

The standard OurCast service is for personal, non-commercial use only. Commercial use includes but is not limited to:

• Using generated content in advertisements or marketing materials
• Selling or licensing generated videos
• Using generated content for business presentations or promotions
• Creating content for clients or customers

6. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use OurCast. We do not knowingly provide services to minors. If you are using photos of minors in your projects, you must be their parent or legal guardian, and the content must be appropriate and used solely for personal family purposes.

7. Disclosure Requirements

When sharing OurCast-generated content publicly (e.g., on social media), we strongly recommend:

• Clearly indicating that the content was created using AI technology
• Not presenting AI-generated content as genuine or unaltered footage
• Respecting platform-specific rules regarding synthetic media

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any content or use of OurCast that violates this policy, please report it immediately to:

9. Enforcement

• Legal action to recover damages

10. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your use of OurCast and any content you create using our service. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OurCast from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of this policy or any applicable laws.
